Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : Suspect Questioned in Man’s Death

LAKE LOS ANGELES — A 38-year-old man was shot to death Wednesday in a residential neighborhood near Lake Los Angeles Park, authorities said.
The man was shot several times in front of a house in the 17600 block of East Highacres Avenue about 4:30 p.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Jones. He died half an hour later at Antelope Valley Hospital.
Investigators were questioning a suspect at the Antelope Valley sheriff’s station in connection with the shooting but would not reveal any other information, Jones said.
