One of the nation’s largest selections of fine art reproductions by renowned Latino artists arrives at Bell Gardens High School’s Big Gym, 6119 Agra St., on Nov. 30.
“The Don Juan Traveling Art Gallery,” which features works by Chicano, Mexican and Latino artists, is coordinated by Juan Silverio Gonzalez and Irma Juana Maria Nunez of the East Los Angeles Chicano Mural Movement.
The exhibition and sale of the reproductions--which sell for between $2.50 and $35--promotes awareness of Latino contributions to history and society.
Admission is free. Proceeds from the sale will go to Bell Gardens High School. Hours of the one-day art show are 5 to 7 p.m.
