FULLERTON — Police are seeking witnesses to a car crash late Thursday that left a woman seriously injured.
Linda Bloedel, 33, of Fullerton sustained multiple fractures and internal injuries when her late-model, silver Buick sedan was struck by a gray pickup truck about 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Harbor Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue, officials said.
Police arrested the driver of the pickup, 34-year-old Kelly Jenson of Anaheim, on suspicion of felony drunk driving. Jenson, who was not injured in the accident, is being held in the city’s jail in lieu of posting $25,000 bail.
Sgt. Hal Stevens said police received numerous calls reporting the incident, but none of the witnesses were still at the scene when officers arrived. “We would like to talk to anyone who saw the accident so we can establish what happened,” Stevens said.
