GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL PLAYOFF ROUNDUP : Harvard-Westlake Upsets St. Joseph in Second Round

Christine Bohle had 11 kills to lead the Harvard-Westlake girls’ volleyball team to a 15-3, 15-0, 15-8 upset over fifth-ranked St. Joseph in a Southern Section Division II second-round playoff match Saturday at Westlake.
Nordhoff d. Perris, 10-15, 15-5, 15-2, 15-5--Brandi Keeter had 15 kills and Julie Sandefur added 45 assists as the second-seeded Rangers (15-1) won a second-round Division IV match.
L.A. Baptist d. Mojave, 15-3, 16-14, 11-15, 15-4--Second-ranked L.A. Baptist improved to 17-0 in the Division IV second-round match. Darcier Frazier led the Knights with 24 kills and Tunde Hrotko had 44 assists.
Notre Dame Academy d. Louisville, 11-15, 15-10, 15-12, 15-11--Lauren Brownson had 26 kills in the Division II loss at Crespi High.
