Blue Shield Announces Reorganization: The San Francisco-based health insurer said it is expanding its Los Angeles operations and will add about 100 local jobs as part of a corporate restructuring program. The move will produce about $14 million in annual cost savings, said Wayne R. Moon, president and chief executive. Blue Shield has more than 1.5 million members.
