Deals: Lee & Associates in Newport Beach has contracted with Carlisle Plastics Inc. of Boston, to help provide the firm’s real estate brokerage needs. The company is looking to expand in Southern California, with plans to acquire nearly 200,000 square feet. Irvine architects CYP International will design Greystone Villas, the first townhome project in Coto de Caza, the exclusive gated-community in southern Orange County. Developed by Greystone Homes, the Newport Beach home builder, the projects will be designed in the California craftsman style. Cayman Development Co., a luxury home builder in Irvine, has broken ground for Newport Ridge Vistas, an exclusive community of 70 attached homes in Newport Coast. Brokers from O’Donnell Property Services Inc. helped put together a deal for a pension fund to pay $8 million for two industrial buildings in Costa Mesa near John Wayne Airport.
Dates: The Orange County Chapter of the National Assn. of Industrial and Office Properties will feature William F. Buckley Jr., author and host of “Firing Line,” at its second annual dinner on Dec. 1.
