LITTLEROCK : Boy Who Killed Himself With Handgun Identified

Authorities on Wednesday identified a 10-year-old boy who accidentally killed himself with a handgun in Littlerock.
Gerald Young and his 12-year-old brother were visiting an aunt Tuesday afternoon in the 37800 block of 90th Street East when the shooting occurred, said Brian Jones, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
The boy had gotten the .38-caliber handgun from an abandoned car and took it to the residence. He died at the scene of a head wound.
