Orrock Is New Head of County Fair Board

Dennis Orrock of Ventura has been elected president of the Ventura County Fair’s board of directors.
The Ventura attorney will assume the position Sunday.
Gov. Pete Wilson appointed him to the board in 1989 to fill a vacancy. He was reappointed to four-year terms in 1990 and 1994.
The board is appointed by the governor to administer Seaside Park and the annual Ventura County Fair.
Thomas Pecht was elected vice president and fair General Manager Michael Paluszak was reappointed secretary manager. Leonard (Tim) Miskel was reappointed treasurer of the board.
