Cierny Stars Again in Ice Dog Victory

Jozef Cierny scored two goals and Viktor Gordiouk had a short-handed goal and two assists as the Ice Dogs beat the Fort Wayne Komets, 6-3, Wednesday night before 2,053 at the Sports Arena.
The victory keeps the Ice Dogs (21-15-5) in third place in the International Hockey League’s Southwest division and gives them the third-best record in the Western Conference. The Komets (20-19-4) remain third in the North Division of the Eastern Conference.
