Youth : News for the 18-and-under crowd : B-I-N-G-O Spells Donation for DARE

A group representing several high school organizations that raises money with bingo games has given the city’s DARE program a $1,200 donation.
A parent, Nick Eighmy, presented the money to Police Chief Daryl Wicker at a recent City Council meeting. Eighmy represented the Cypress Bingo Council, which is composed of booster clubs raising money for several high school groups.
DARE--Drug Abuse Resistance Education--is coordinated by city police and operates a drug education program for young people.
