. . . Reports of tainted beef from the U.S. Department of Agriculture prompted 10 of 27 school districts in Orange County to drop federally supplied beef from lunch menus.
Investigators reported that pesticide-contaminated grain was fed to livestock supplied to the federal government. There were no reports of illness.
