Scout Museum Director Named to Top Post at Reagan Library

WASHINGTON (AP) — The director of a national Boy Scouts museum has been named director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum near Simi Valley, the National Archives said Saturday.
Mark A. Hunt is scheduled to start his new job May 1, said John W. Carlin, archivist of the United States. The Reagan library is one of nine presidential libraries operated by the National Archives.
Hunt now manages the National Scouting Museum of the Boy Scouts of America at Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
Hunt also has served as director of the Kansas State Historical Society’s museum and historic properties and director of the Kansas Museum of History.
