Weekend Box Office : ‘Primal Fear’ Keeps Grip on Top Spot

“Primal Fear” held off newcomer “James and the Giant Peach” for first place as box office was up for the 21st consecutive week over a year ago. Miramax’s “Jane Eyre” took in an average of $7,712 on 35 screens, while Paramount’s “Kids in the Hall Brain Candy” averaged $4,726 on 163 screens.
