Tech Firm Plans Scotland Unit

SANTA ANA — Simple Technology Inc. said it is establishing a European subsidiary in East Kilbride, Scotland, to accommodate increasing demand for computer memory upgrades and PC card products. The facility will include manufacturing and sales offices. The manufacturing facility is scheduled to open in August, the company said.

Simple Technology, founded in 1990, makes more than 1,400 memory products for computers and printers.
