Wyle Electronics Moves

IRVINE — Wyle Electronics, an Irvine-based computer parts distributor, is moving to another building at the Irvine Spectrum, the Irvine Co.’s large office and industrial center, as part of a plan to consolidate several operations.

Wyle, with 70 workers, is relocating to the Corporate Business Center, a new development in the Spectrum that was begun in 1994 and will have 12 buildings when completed. The Irvine Co. said Friday that it has begun construction on two buildings at the center, which has five nearly completed buildings. Wyle is scheduled to move this summer into a 44,000-square-foot building near a new facility just occupied by MBK Real Estate Co., formerly Birtcher Real Estate Ltd.
