David Hale, the key government witness in the Whitewater trial, put at least $250,000 in a trust for his children, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported. Hale, who has accused President Clinton of pressuring him to make an illegal loan, and his wife transferred ownership of their Little Rock home to a trust for their two children in 1992, the paper said.
