Development May Affect Bat Caves

* For your information, Lenora Kirby (Letters, April 27) is an employee of Ahmanson Land Co., developers of Home Savings’ Ahmanson Ranch. She is also one of the main proponents of the proposed development on Ahmanson Ranch.
It appears Ms. Kirby wants the location of the Bat Caves to be kept a secret not so much to protect them from vandalism (or our purpose on the Earth Day event--to clean them up) but out of a desire to ensure that Home Savings does not receive any bad press once the word gets out that the area surrounding the Bat Caves will be destroyed forever with tract homes.
