Opportunities for Volunteering

L.A. Shanti needs volunteers to give emotional support and education to people affected by HIV, AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. Volunteers lead support groups, give one-on-one counseling, conduct community outreach and help during free weekend seminars for people with HIV. No special background is required. Volunteers are needed for the Los Angeles Community Action Network’s ninth annual Human Race 5K/10K Walk/Run to benefit Los Angeles-area nonprofit organizations.
