Where Did All the Magic Go?

Why is so much space wasted about coaching, personalities, etc.? The Lakers, quite simply, lost to a better team.

Magic has dulled the luster, tainted the image, is no longer America’s adorable icon.

He has become a shameless self-promoter, a combination media darling/locker-room lawyer, a control freak who can no longer control, and, worst of all, a figure so desperate for the spotlight that he has become a pathetic spectacle.

Jerry West needs to get rid of Magic and get back to what he was doing so well. I say all of this as a lifetime Laker loyalist and Magic-lover with a broken heart.
