WASHINGTON — A bomb scare at Dulles International Airport on Friday forced the Secret Service to move President Clinton’s departure for a trip to St. Louis to the more secure Andrews Air Force Base in suburban Maryland.
A Dulles departure had been planned because an air show was underway at the military base.
The White House said an airplane chartered for the press to accompany the president was moved from its terminal but was still scheduled to depart from Dulles, in the Virginia countryside near Chantilly.
