Dancers from around the world (pictured above) will be among the 6,000 participants at Seattle’s Annual Northwest Folklife Festival, which next weekend celebrates the cultural heritages of more than 100 countries through music, exhibits, demonstrations, workshops and children’s activities. Admission is free.
The huge May 24-27 festival, which marks its 25th anniversary this year, is one of the city’s most significant cultural events and usually draws about 200,000 visitors to Seattle Center. Information: (206) 684-7300; Internet: https://www.nwfolklife.org/folklife/
