Tip Leads Investigators to $83,000 in Marijuana

LAGUNA BEACH — Narcotics investigators acting on a tip arrested a 36-year-old resident after finding in his home 276 marijuana plants with a street value of $83,000, police said Saturday.
Investigators who searched the Acapulco Street house found the plants growing with the help of lighting, ventilation and irrigation systems, police said.
David Robert Shriver was arrested on suspicion of possession and cultivation of marijuana for sale. He was being held at the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
