Five SCC Athletes Receive All-America Honors

Southern California College athletes Kevin Carlson, Larry Holland, Quynh Le, David Robbins and Ryan Lewis were selected for All-American honors, the school announced Tuesday.
Carlson and Holland were selected for track and field. Carlson won the NAIA high jump title with a jump of 7- 1/2. Holland finished third in the marathon in 2 hours 36 minutes, which was a school record. Carlson also was named to the NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete list.
Le won the second-team honor after making it to the fourth round of the NAIA National Women’s Tennis Tournament. Robbins and Lewis made first-team honors in the men’s division by advancing to the semifinal round of the doubles competition. Le was also named to the scholar athlete list.
