** Various artists, “Rhythm of the Games,” LaFace. Atlanta-based Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Babyface are the executive producers of this Olympic-themed compilation featuring artists such as Gloria Estefan, Kenny G and Mary J. Blige. While nothing here packs the emotional wallop of Whitney Houston’s 1988 “One Moment in Time,” it nonetheless contains a tender, jazzily intricate version of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Boyz II Men that is sure to raise goose bumps and a bit of patriotic pride.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
