Hearings to Address Wine Room, Carwash

Public hearings will be held Monday regarding applications for city zoning permits, including a proposal to build a wine-tasting room at a Studio City liquor store.
The applications include requests for:
* Approval of plans to convert a storage room into a wine-tasting room at Vendome Liquor and Wine Shop, 11976 Ventura Blvd., Studio City. Tasting would be limited to groups of 15 people one day per week from 3 to 9 p.m.
* A conditional-use permit to add a 640-square-foot, self-serve carwash to a Shell gas station at 15540 Rinaldi St. in Mission Hills. The carwash would be built on the southern end of the property and would be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Both hearings will be held at the Sherman Oaks Woman’s Club, 4808 Kester Ave.
