THOUSAND OAKS — A robber armed with a handgun stole a wallet, business receipts and jewelry from a man making a delivery at the rear loading dock of a Thousand Oaks market Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The robber was last seen about 3:30 p.m. fleeing in a black compact car through the parking lot of Mrs. Gooch’s Whole Foods Market in the 400 block of East Avenida de los Arboles.
He is described as a Hispanic male, about 30 years old, 5 feet tall with a muscular build, shaved head, mustache, goatee, facial and neck tattoos and a pierced nose and lower lip.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department or Crimestoppers at 494-TALK in Thousand Oaks, or 987-TALK in the west county.
