Don’t Tarnish Efforts by Clippers’ Sterling
- Share via
Thank you, Bill Dwyre, for your excellent commentary regarding the Clippers’ Donald Sterling. After the terrible events that devastated Los Angeles in the last five years, it is laudable that one individual has made an effort to restore the positive image of this community by maintaining an NBA franchise instead of relocating it outside Los Angeles.
I am only sorry that the story was not on the front page of the sports section. Mr. Sterling’s actions are an antithesis of those of Al Davis, who received much more attention in the pages of your newspaper.
