The new complex, a joint venture of Mirage Resorts and Circus Circus Enterprises, is on the south end of the former Dunes site across from the MGM Grand. With architecture patterned after the Place du Casino in Monte Carlo, Monaco, it will include a hotel with 3,014 rooms and 256 suites; a 90,000-square-foot casino; five themed restaurants; a 21,000-square-foot pool area with waterfalls, and extensive retail shopping. Magician Lance Burton will perform nightly in a 1,200-seat theater. Reservations: (800) 311-8999.
