Two Titan Assistant Coaches Resign

FULLERTON — J. Kelley Hall and Robyn Stewart, two assistant women’s basketball coaches at Cal State Fullerton, have resigned.

Coach Debbie Ayres said Wednesday she expects to have replacements hired in August.

Hall, an assistant and recruiting coordinator for two years, has accepted a position as an assistant women’s coach at Auburn, Ayres said.

Stewart, also with the Titans for two years, plans to seek a head coaching job in the Pacific Northwest, Ayres said. Stewart was an assistant for five years at Idaho before moving to Fullerton.

“We’re reviewing more than 80 applications, and we hope to start interviewing the top candidates next week,” Ayres said.
