U.S. Soling Entry Finally Approved

The U.S. entry in the Soling class was finally approved, more than three days after it first came under scrutiny by measurement officials.
Results of tests on the boat, including a sample taken from its hull, showed it complied with the strict international dimensional rules, officials said.
Captain Jeff Madrigali and his crew of Kent Massey and Jim Barton had their preparation interrupted by the long delay in approval.
