Banker Denies Violating Law

A banker denied that he reimbursed himself and relatives for thousands in political contributions to then-Gov. Bill Clinton. In testimony at his Little Rock, Ark., trial, Robert Hill also adamantly denied that he conspired to hide from the federal government large cash withdrawals by Clinton’s 1990 gubernatorial campaign. Hill and his partner, Herby Branscum Jr., are charged with conspiracy and misapplication of bank funds.
