Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc.: The San Clemente real estate investment trust, which owns 20 hotels in the Western U.S., said net income for the second quarter grew 2% to $886,000, or 14 cents a share, from $869,000, or 14 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue advanced 43% to $3 million from $2.1 million. For the first half, net income was $2.2 million, or 35 cents a share, down 8% from the $2.4 million, or 38 cents a share, for the first six months of 1995. Revenue was up 32% to $6.2 million from $4.7 million. The company had its initial public offering in August 1995.
