Tree Society Seeking Replant Nominations

In an effort to replant barren public areas of the county, the Tree Society of Orange County is currently seeking the community’s help in identifying areas in need of trees and in achieving its goal of increasing the number of trees in the county by 80% by 2005.
Public areas with irrigation, such as parks, roadways and schools, are eligible. Areas must be nominated by postcard, including a brief description and address, by Aug. 15.
Nominations should be submitted to the Tree Society of Orange County, c/o Fullerton Arboretum, Cal State Fullerton, Fullerton, CA 92834.
