Regarding the Weekend Escape to San Luis Obispo (“First-Rate Freight,” Aug. 25): As a wide-eyed 50-year-old traveler, it is so sad to read that the Schines needed to nap twice before the end of their first day’s journey. I would hate to think of how much today’s younger generation will actually “see” on a trip to Europe!
