Richard Wemmer, commanding officer of the LAPD’s Van Nuys Division, will be at the Panorama City Neighborhood Assn.’s special meeting Wednesday to discuss law enforcement issues. He will also be available to answer questions from community members.
Leslie Yamashita, a spokeswoman for the association, said all residents and business owners in the area are welcome.
“Extremely positive changes are going on in Panorama City, and we want people to know about it,” Yamashita said. “Too often the focus is on the negative. The media thrives on that, but there’s a lot here that’s very positive, and people should know about that too.”
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Room 208 of the Mission Community Medical Building, 14860 Roscoe Blvd.
