The Eagles’ longest play from scrimmage against Trabuco Hills was their first, a 75-yard touchdown pass by quarterback Carson Palmer. After that it was all Newman. He rushed 33 times for 353 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-24 victory. “Every time he touched the ball we were getting first downs,” Coach Jim Hartigan said.
