Buena 27, Agoura 18--Brady Phelps carried 22 times for 127 yards and touchdown runs of 11- and one yard as the Bulldogs (1-1) downed the Chargers (1-1) in a nonleague game at Agoura.
Buena quarterback Jeff Taladey completed 12 of 19 pass attempts for 164 yards. Bulldog kicker Mike Cohen kicked field goals of 27 and 24 yards and added three extra points. Buena led 17-7 at the half.
Agoura’s Jason Gordon carried 16 times for 122 yards and two short touchdowns.
