Lennon Birthday Bash to Benefit Peace Group

A John Lennon Birthday Bash and Concert, featuring the Beatles tribute band the Mop Tops, two cake-cutting ceremonies, the signing of a 12-foot-tall birthday card and a “Give Peace a Chance” march will be held Oct. 9 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Jacks Sugar Shack in Hollywood. Admission is $5; all ages are welcome. Proceeds will benefit the Alliance for Survival peace group.
