Firm Wins Medal for ‘Barley Dog’ Product

Green Foods Corp. in Oxnard has won a gold medal of excellence in the Animal Food/Pet Care Products category of Alive magazine’s Academy of Nutrition.

The award was for the company’s “Barley Dog,” a powdered grass supplement that contains barley and garlic to help boost a pet’s immune system. Last year the product won a silver medal in the competition.

“Barley Dog” is available nationwide at health food and pet stores.
