Mater Dei 3, Mission Viejo 0--Katie Rice had 21 assists and three aces to lead Mater Dei (2-3, 1-0) to a 15-8, 15-2, 15-4 victory.
In the Century League:
Villa Park 3, Foothill 1--Tracey Titus had 42 assists for host Villa Park (5-2, 1-0), which won, 15-17, 15-12, 15-13, 15-8.
Katella 3, Kennedy 0--Kinsey Ross had 13 kills and Catherine Painter had eight blocks for visiting Katella (3-2, 1-0), which won, 15-6, 15-5, 15-13.
In the Freeway League:
La Habra 3, Sunny Hills 0--Lauren Marani had 15 kills for host La Habra (2-3, 1-0), which won, 15-5, 15-7, 15-9.

Woodbridge 3, Corona del Mar 2--Kelby Rumph had 15 kills for Woodbridge (5-2, 1-0) in a 15-9, 6-15, 5-15, 15-10, 15-8 victory over Corona del Mar. Sarah Petry had 18 kills for Corona del Mar.
