Smartflex Systems Inc.: The Tustin provider of electronic assemblies and subassemblies recorded a net income of $1.7 million, or 27 cents a share, for the third quarter, compared with a net income of $1.7 million, or 29 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue increased 8% to $35.6 million from $33 million. For the nine-month period, net income rose 47% to $5.3 million, or 82 cents a share, from $3.6 million, or 75 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue advanced 29% to $109.9 million from $85.2 million.
