Police were searching Monday for four men and two women who burst into an Encino home, tied up a maid and stole valuables before fleeing.
Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Jason Lee said the incident started about 12:40 p.m. Monday when the group broke into a home in the 18300 block of Lake Encino Drive.
While the owners’ two children watched, they tied the maid in a bathroom and ransacked the home.
Lee said the men took several thousand dollars worth of property, including a Rolex watch, diamond rings, televisions and ceramic artwork.
No one was injured in the robbery.
