Chief Probation Officer of Year Named

The State Assn. of Chief Probation Officers has named Frank Woodson officer of the year.
Woodson, director of the Corrections Services Agency and Ventura County’s chief probation officer, was presented the award by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors during a recent ceremony.
Woodson has served in his current position for 4 1/2 years, and prior to that he was the agency’s deputy director for 17 years. Woodson was recognized for his many contributions to the state association, including his work as vice president and his leadership to probation departments statewide.
