Moorpark 29, Santa Clara 0--The Musketeers (4-3, 1-1) rushed for 312 yards and coasted to their first Frontier League victory at Channel Islands High.
Moorpark’s rushing attack was three-pronged. Art Garcia gained 92 yards in 22 carries, Michael Finnerty added 83 yards and one touchdown in five carries and Cory Duckett had an 82-yard touchdown run and finished with 80 yards in two carries.
It marked the fifth time in seven games that the Saints (0-7, 0-1) have been shut out. They have been outscored, 304-20.
Moorpark, which recorded its second shutout, limited Santa Clara to 156 yards.
