Exon, a Times first-team all-county selection last season, helped the second-ranked Warriors to big victories last week over third-ranked Corona del Mar and fourth-ranked Villa Park. Exon won five of six sets in the matches, including a 7-5 victory over Villa Park’s Faye DeVera, whom she had never beaten.

* Dana Hills, senior. She had 35 kills to lead the Dolphins to league victories over San Clemente and Capistrano Valley.
Heather Garritson/Cross-Country
* Buena Park, junior. She had the fastest county time at the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational, 18 minutes 5 seconds.
Kristin Groncy/Cross-Country
* Orange Lutheran, senior. Groncy finished second at the Mt. SAC Invitational to help the Lancers win the Division V team title.
