17 County Teams in State Championships

Seventeen teams will represent Orange County in the state cross-country championships Saturday at Woodward Park in Fresno.
Seven girls and four boys from Orange County will compete as individuals in the meet, which begins at 8:30 a.m.
Tustin, the county and Southern Section Division III boys’ champion, will be among the favorites for a Division III state title. Dana Hills’ girls’ team will compete against South Coast League-rival Mission Viejo in the Division II final. University’s Allyson Marquand, the section runner-up, will compete individually in that race.
