2 Assailants Sought in Teen’s Stabbing

In what Oxnard police suspect is a gang-related crime, two young Latino males stabbed a 15-year-old male Wednesday afternoon.
Officers say the victim was walking along a street in the Pleasant Valley area near Squires Drive with a friend when a large dark-colored Buick or Oldsmobile sedan pulled up alongside the pair. The car’s two occupants exchanged insults with the pedestrians. Police say one suspect drew a knife, and stabbed the victim repeatedly. They then sped away in the vehicle.
Oxnard police say the suspects are between the ages of 18 and 23.
The stabbing victim was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard.
