Military logs that could be crucial to Gulf War veterans who believe their health problems are linked to chemical weapons exposure are missing and can’t be found, The New York Times reported. The logs cover eight days in 1991 when U.S. troops blew up an Iraqi chemical weapons depot, the paper said. The logs from March 4 to March 10, 1991, were supposed to have recorded any incident in which chemical or biological agents were detected. The missing papers could be crucial to Gulf War veterans, who are complaining of serious health problems whose causes have not been found.
