Short Week for Colts, Eagles

A short practice week for the game at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis has complicated the playoff hopes of Philadelphia and Indianapolis.
On Sunday Indianapolis (7-6) beat AFC East leader Buffalo, 13-10, in overtime. Philadelphia (8-5) beat the New York Giants, 24-0, to tie Dallas and Washington for first place in the NFC East.
“This is a difficult situation for both teams, but you don’t have time to complain,” Philadelphia Coach Ray Rhodes said. “You go into the game preparing mostly from a mental standpoint. From a physical standpoint, you don’t do any hitting.”
The Colts may be without five defensive starters. Safety David Tate and defensive lineman Tony Siragusa are out, and linebackers Quentin Coryatt and Stephen Grant may not have recovered from injuries suffered against Buffalo. Cornerback Ray Buchanan’s status was also uncertain because of a thigh injury.
