Hoping to collect toys, food and clothes for needy families, city employees have launched their annual Operation Santa program.
Through Dec. 19, the city will operate a storefront every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. at La Habra Market Place, 1551D W. Imperial Highway.
The public may drop off gifts, wrapping paper and tape so that the presents can be wrapped.
City officials said they expect to deliver the goods to more than 300 families this year.
